I have no words to describe the happiness I feel in receiving so many awards and accolades. I am truly grateful for the appreciation and affection that many have shown for this documentary, the result of so much work and passion. I want to thank those who believed in this project and have always supported me, especially the researchers of the
Ethocebus Project and my Brazilian friends. Without them, all this would not have been possible. I really hope that the success and visibility that the documentary is obtaining can help to raise awareness on the importance of protecting bearded capuchin monkeys and their culture, today at risk mainly due to the expansion of intensive agriculture and the human impact. If the indiscriminate exploitation of their habitat will not be stopped, we risk losing forever the populations of these primates and their priceless culture. Thanks again to everyone.
