Bio

Biologist, award-winning wildlife filmmaker and photographer with expertise in animal behaviour and experience of shooting in varied locations across the globe. Graduated with an M.Sc. in Biology at the University of Rome and an MA in Wildlife Documentary Production at the University of Salford.

He has collaborated with universities and research centres, collecting data and documenting animal behaviour with photographs and videos that were published in international scientific journals and magazines (National Geographic, New Scientist, Science Illustrated, Nature, PNAS, Royal Society Publishing, Focus, La Repubblica) and broadcasted on television programmes, such as Superquark (Rai1) and L'Arca di Noè (Canale 5).

​He was awarded at international film festivals, including being a winner at the Ireland Wildlife Film Festival, International Nature Film Festival Gödöllő, Wildlife Conservation Film Festival and a finalist at the International Wildlife Film Festival and Nature inFocus Film Awards. He was also a runner-up at the Royal Society Publishing Photographic Competition 2015.


He aims to combine science and entertainment to make wildlife films that raise people's awareness about environmental issues, particularly climate changes, biodiversity loss and exploitation of natural resources.
